Production Blog: Finishing Filming for our Opening Sequence

Hello bloggers, welcome back and today we have some more things to discuss. So as may know, I have previously begun filming with my group. The filming has now been completed and I think it looks pretty good. Despite all the challenges we faced during the filming process we still pulled through and got it done. It is something I am pretty proud of  because we worked together and had fun making a opening sequence of a film which is something I've never done in the past. But this second filming session was much harder than the last. This is because we had to implement weather in our filming. This proved to be difficult as we needed to wait for rain/storm to come and we would need to record quickly before it vanished. It was also hard to film in these conditions as  sometimes the video would come out distorted and just messy in general. Sometimes we would even have to change filming locations and we assigned Enzo to make sure it was done safely. We also would have to film in the woods at night so we kept a watch for each other. We also had a rule to stay within 100 meters of each other so no one got lost. The camera itself would wear bright colors so that it would be easy to spot. A flashlight was bought and used by me to make sure we knew where we were. We made sure to check our surrounding to watch out for animals and poisonous plants that could cause issues. Many of us were actually a little startled to be in the woods, This made the acting seem much more natural but made the process very stressful. This ended up taking a mental toll on anyway and forced us into rushing the filming as we wanted to leave. We did many retakes last filming session but in this session we did not want to do many retakes and wanted to go home. I am still happy and proud of what we did and thought it was good for the situation. But that is it for today see ya later bloggers.
