Reflection

Hey bloggers I finally did it! I finished and submitted my commercial. This project actually made me very proud as I put a lot of effort into it. This was for sure a new experience as it was the first time I did a editing project. I ended up uploading my first YouTube video for this project which was also a little new for me. I learned how to operate Cap Cut which was hard but worth it in the end because now I can use it if needed. Most importantly I just liked the idea of me being able to make a video and publish because it can build knowledge that I might use in the future During this project I felt more informed on how to make a short commercial. I noticed it takes careful planning. I see you also have to be picky to be able to make something that would satisfy you. Making a project to present to the world will surely have it's ups and downs. I was taught this idea by all the work I did to get this done. I explained these ups and downs on my production blogs as I was going thro

Hey everyone I'm back with another update on how things are going. So to start off I was just adding some finishing additions to my commercial. I was doing things like making sure the pictures, videos, and songs were okay. But this week I have been delayed a lot so I will be finishing my commercial on a very tight clock. So I had to do some stuff around the house to help my mom out with things. That was time I could have used to work on my editing. I also had to study for three tests which was pretty time consuming. So I ended up rushing a lot of things which is bad for the quality of the commercial. I also had a family trip planned out so I knew that would take a chunk out of my time. This trip was to Los Angeles and we were going to stay for around 3 days. Knowing this I would have to plan out a schedule to get stuff done before I go. Therefore I got started on my commercial and boy did I have a lot ahead of me. It was going great but then I ended up hitting another point where

Hello everyone, today is the third update on the work for my commercial. So today I was walking back home from school and I started to think of other things I could do for my commercial. I will not lie though this process has definitely been very draining. Especially when the internet is bad, phone is bugging, and Cap Cut will glitch. These issues have been common and have made the process very irritating. Another issue I still have is working Cap Cut as I'm still not as familiar with the app. This makes it even harder to make my commercial because I have to make my edits and learn how to use the app  at the same time. But I feel like every mistake I have made has helped me throughout the process. So I'm building a love-hate relationship with this project. I met up with some friends again who are doing the same thing after school. I asked them questions on what they had done so far and I also asked them to review my edit so far. I did this so I can get an idea on if I'm beh

Hey guys, today is the second day I'll be speaking about what I've done so far for my commercial. So today I mainly continued doing a lot of things I did last time. For example, I was just reviewing the pictures and other things to see if that was what I really wanted to do. I also kept using the Cap Cut app to edit my pictures, videos, and songs for the commercial. As I was doing that I was looking into more templates and other editing features that could be possibly used. I have also made a group of friends to brainstorm different ideas for the project. This helped speed up a of things in the process of me making my commercial. I started to think about ideas of what I would do for my intro. The reason I'd want an intro segment is so that my audience can get a "taste" of what I'll be showing them. So for my intro I would most likely use a video of me and friends or family to give off a friendly vibe. To get my songs I just screen recorded them and then added

Hey everybody, today I got started on the project I mentioned on the previous blog. If you didn't see it I recommend you look but I was basically just telling you the actions I would take to complete my commercial about me. So I had to download an editing software called Cap Cut for this project. This app would make it  a lot easier for me to make my commercial using my pictures, videos, and songs. To be able to access my videos and stuff I gave the app access to my camera roll. I spent some time looking at the templates provided on there to see if I could maybe use one. The other time I had left I looked at the other features provided so I can experiment with them and get a feel. I began to try out the transitions but a lot of them seemed annoying so I decided to keep it simple. I double checked the photos I would be using for the project. I also went over the songs they were appropriate for the circumstances. I then checked the videos to make sure they included what I wanted to

In today's blog I'll be talking about the process I'm taking to complete my commercial project. My commercial project will include pictures and videos of things that are important to me or that connect to me as a person. So to start of one picture I'd definitely choose is a picture of me and my team when we won the state champion for soccer. The main reason I would choose this is because it was one of my best accomplishments so far in terms of my soccer career and it was just a really special moment for me and the team. I would also include a picture of my dads dog because I get to see him every time I travel to see my dad and other family in Brazil and he is the sweetest and funniest dog that just makes me smile a lot. Another picture I would put in the project is a picture of my favorite birthday party. It was taken in Brazil, it was my favorite party because mostly all of my family were there and  I got a very special cake made for me including my favorite Brazilian

Hey, my name is Joao Nunes, I am 16 years old and I'm a junior looking to graduate in the year of 2025. Today I'll be giving you some  things about me and my life. So one thing I can definitely tell you is that I love sports and love to play them, especially soccer. I can also tell you about my dream job which is to become a professional soccer player not only for the money, also because playing the sport brings me happiness and distracts me from things. Other things I'm interested in is science, engineering, and physical education. My goals in school are to get my credits for AICE and graduate with a good GPA so I can set myself up for a good future. I enjoy spending time with my parents and friends, I often play soccer with my friends since most of them have the same desires as me and also with family because our background is popular with soccer.
