Production Blog: Filming Our Opening Sequence
Hello bloggers, as you may know previously I was working on selecting the music for our opening sequence. Finding the music was a rather tedious process but worked out. Just like before it took a while for the group to be able to meet together. This was because of our different schedules which made it harder for us to make the meeting. So yesterday afternoon we came together and filmed our first storyboard of our opening sequence. We all dressed in basic pajamas with caps and eye covers. We would also then have to come together and decide who would be the main character for our sequence. This choice would be made based on who was the most comfortable with the camera on them. They would need to be comfortable because being the main character means that you are usually going to be on camera most of the time. We also faced some trouble with the weather as during this time it was very windy and cold. This made it challenging to go out and film and also caused a member to fall ill. However even with these obstacles we all still met up at Connie's house to record. The first couple of scenes were relatively basic and simple to film. Although they were recently added the group did well to film them. We ran into problems when it came to the breakfast seen as we had to manage the cooking of the food while recording from multiple angles. We also had to make sure the filming was done with quality and done safely which added to the difficulty of the task. We had to make sure the oil wouldn't splash onto us or the equipment to make sure nothing would be messed up. However eating the food was very enjoyable at the end which ended up being a nice little treat for our work. So finishing this first session of filming was very nice as it has been long awaited. But that is it for today, see ya later bloggers!
