Production blog: Filming for my music video
Hey bloggers as you may know I have been looking for equipment for the film. Like I said before I did research on equipment and other items the group would need for the video. But as a group a final decision was made to start filming today. With that in mind we got straight to it and set up the scenes as to match the storyboard. As I didn't have any role in the video as a character in today's filming session I helped with other things. I helped set up the area and make things look neat so that the video would looks organized. I also helped a bit on recording some of the scenes. The film was taken at Constanza's house using different actors, props, and more. We got Enzo to dress up nicely and got him to use a white button up shirt and dress pants to make him look mature as he was playing as the father of the girl in the story. Then we had to figure out how to make the dog cooperate with us so that we can start recording as he was part of the story. This was a tedious process as the dog would often get distracted but he eventually worked with us. To help with the dog's focus treats and toys were used. We then went outside and I helped to film the scene where the "father" and "daughter" were walking the dog. This scene also leads into another scene where they encounter the nick(neighbor) opening his mail box as they are returning home from their walk. Nick was dressed casually like an everyday neighbor to make things look simple and realistic. There were many shots and angles used for these scenes. This includes a tracking shot used while the dog was being walked to keep everything in frame. The scenery was then moved to Constanza's backyard where there was more of the story to play out. This scene include the dog and the "daughter" having fun playing with each other on the grass. But that is it for today, see ya later bloggers!
